Someone explain why donald's attorneys are not arguing that donald trump didn't extort another Nation like he said he didn't do.

@danklordsupreme8864 They're not arguing against the impeachment Articles either. The lawyers and trump supporter's only option is to claim that donald did do what the Articles claim, just that it's not illegal. As weak as that is, there's no other option. Too much against him to claim he didn't do it.

@danklordsupreme8864 I assume you see nothing wrong with a President withholding aid until another government fulfills a request. Obstruction of Congress occurs when you ignore Congressional Subpoenas for documents and witnesses.

@danklordsupreme8864 the reason donald's lawyers are not arguing that there wasn't a quid pro quo is that witnesses who testified said there was. Even donald's own Chief of Staff said so. The reason Ukraine didnt do the favor is because donald released the aid as soon as he discovered Congress was investigating him. If donald already released the actual full transcript of the call, there's no executive privilege anymore. It's weird to invoke privilege in a perfect call, I think. By the way, Iran got a their own money back. It was not tax payer money.

@danklordsupreme8864 everything you just said makes it hard to explain why donald trump is refusing to provide evidence that proves his case. trump supporters argue the lack of first hand witnesses while failing to point out that donald is the one preventing first hand witnesses from testifying. By the way, donald already confesses in the front lawn of the Whitehouse that he wanted Ukraine to investigate Biden for the aid. He even threw in China in the mix.

@danklordsupreme8864 So at the same time that you claim there were no first hand witnesses, you point out that donald Blocked all first hand witnesses. To say that donald's job is to investigate corruption is hilarious given the fact donald has already lost a few cases and paid 30 million dollars for scamming people. Not to mention his own shady Campaign team who got arrested.
