  2.  @ladylestranj  The Republican argument is that if you take money you have a moral duty to repay the debt. Somehow, Republicans don't mind Socialism when they're the ones getting free money. Forgiveness of Student loans has also been embedded in the loan programs through income driven repayment plans since the 1990's. Not only that, debt forgiveness is embedded in the entire credit system. donald trump is famous for using Bankruptcies to cut his debts to creditors.

Speaking of rules being different, Republicans want the FBI defunded because they went into the basement of a guy who took classified documents into an unauthorized location, while there are Americans who have been arrested, indicted, convicted, and have gone to prison for taking classified documents into an unauthorized location.
