Corporations don't mind people having to work longer with no pay increases, while corporations are price gauging the hell out of you. Think about that.

What's crazy is regular people are fighting against being able to spend more time with their families with no decrease in pay, while politicians are planning to cut your Social Security and Medicare. It's insane.

Why would Corporations want workers to have more time for themselves? They already would hire illegal immigrants to work longer for less pay, if not for those pesky Laws.

@milt6208 The point is a 32 hour week.

@AndrewPriester Tell me how corporations are fair to the consumer.

@AndrewPriester People make less money now than they did in the 1970's and people produce more.

@rtquest22 If there was no regulation, you would still have lead in your paint among other chemicals in a bunch of other things. All the safety standards at your job are because of regulations not because big business cares about you.

@AndrewPriester You haven't heard anything about the plan other than less time at work.
3
@AndrewPriester It doesn't apply to the plan being proposed, so it make no sense.

CEO's sure as hell are not complaining about the sweet tax breaks they get that regular workers never see.

@rtquest22 It's hard when Republicans keep calling it Communism when they want to help the population.

@AndrewPriester The Rights that you claim to have are set by the Government.

What's bonkers is a lot of people are complaining about all the money that is being sent to Ukraine. They say it should be spent on Americans. Here comes Bernie and say lets give more money to everyone working like dogs to get by and those dogs are like, "Bernie is crazy" It makes no sense.

When Fox News already has the money to pay Dominion $780 million for lying to their viewers, why in the hell would they care that their viewers could benefit from four-day work weeks?

What's interesting is people in Congress who have a problem with a 32-hour work week take multiple weeks long vacations every year. Republicans just took one that long ago with a pending Government shutdown in the horizon.

@drhotchkiss Because the argument is the merger will raise prices and hurt workers.
