  1. Israelis are buying up property and setting up business in Greek Cyprus. They are moving in such numbers that some are suggesting that they will claim Greek Cyprus as another God Promised Land ! That is how they started in Palestine.

  2. The US organised a meeting for African Union leaders to get to know Zelensky, who is a star speaker in western parliaments. Just 3 African leaders turned up for the meeting ! When the African Union's President wanted to get wheat from Ukraine, he went directly to see Putin. African Union's President broke the rules based international order by not consulting the west. Putin agreed to create a corridor to ship grain from Odessa. Africans have not forgotten the Soviet Union's support for their struggles. Many countries that came out of the shadow of colonialism like India also appreciate and remember the support the Soviet Union gave. Hence, they have a bond with Russia.
