  2. The western weapons are the next Great Hope of the Ukranians and the west. But according to the report, it will be weeks before they arrive. And Russia will destroy a good proportion of the famed weapons before they can be deployed. And more than 20% land will be gone by then. Ukrainian politicians are suicidal in going to pick a fight with Russia, just to get a pat for heroism from the west. The Ukro Nazis got carried away, like the German Nazis when they picked a fight with the Soviet Union. Sad that Ukraine squandered its independence and became a failed state.

  6.  @Nubbe999  So lets invest in peace to end the war as soon as possible. For this, get the US out of Europe and NATO, sign a peace treaty with Russia. That is the only way. There can be no peace in Europe unless Russia's security is also gauranteed. The Europeans went along with the US to threaten Russia with NATO expansion. Ukraine was drawn into this project. In fact, why was not NATO disbanded when Warsaw Pact was disbanded ? Ukraine and Europe are in a bind because they agreed to be playthings in the hands of America, to threaten Russia. So Ukraine got a beating, and Europe carries the refugees and faces the economic pinch. It was entirely predictable, and knowledgable people had warned against NATO expansion to Russia's border.

  8. Putin would have been perfectly reasonable if the US had assured Russia's security by saying US missile will never be placed on Ukranian territory to threaten Russia. The US was unwilling to give that assurance. If you have to ask why the US was not reasonable ? But the arrogant westerner like you believes you are innocent and only Russia is irrational. Russia had to take actions to decapitate Ukraine and break it up, to forestall the possibility that the US would put missiles in Ukraine. Now the Ukranians - and the west - understand if the west dares put missiles in Ukraine, Russia is ready for nuclear war. Make no mistake on that.

Germany cannot build a nuclear power plant tomorrow to prevent shut down of Al plants and other plants today. Once plants are shut, people lose their jobs. For Germany to get ready some LNG terminals will take up to 2025. Europe does not have enough energy and raw materials and is going to have its economy come down.
