'breaching Israel's border' Maybe NATO could learn from the Palestinians how to do a breaching operation, before they train the Ukranians how to do a breaching operation.

Another thing NATO can learn from Palestinians, besides how to do a breaching op - how to maintain secrecy and element of surprise. NATO was broadcasting Ukraine's counter offensive months ahead and complaining about the delay.

@hoangle2483 At the moment, the west is relieved that their debacle in Ukraine is not in the limelight. Their stand is to fly Israeli flags and tell people not to question their support for an apartheid state. They say this is not the time. They have another debacle on hand, when Israel faces a three front war, and will require their money and arms. Zelensky may leave Ukraine to go and lead Israel.

The Palestinians and the Arabs need to take Russian help. The US will back Israel and never take steps to end the apartheid state. The US supported apartheid in the South Africa, while the Soviet Union supported the ANC. The west labelled Mandela as a terrorist. In 1956, the Soviet Union helped Egypt when the colonial forces (France, Israel and Britain) invaded Egypt because Nasser nationalised the Suez Canal. They said it was breach of international rules based order. The Soviets forced these three countries to get out by threatening to use nuclear weapons. The US looked the other way, so France, Israel and Britain had to withdraw. If the Arabs had gone with the Soviet Union at that time, Israel was less than 10 years old, and the Soviet Union would have settled the Palestinian state problem then. Now, the Arabs need to to distance themselves from the US and have an alliance with Russia. They should see how the west unanimously supports Israel. Hence, when the chips are down, the west will always support Israel. Only Russia has publicly said implementation of a Two State Solution is essential for solving the conflict. The western thinking is that only by maintaining Israel's supremacy, the conflict can be managed.

Perhaps NATO can first take training from the Palestinians on the subject of a breaching operation with combined arms and then train the Ukrainians.

@samuelcalkin3516 The west is defeated in Ukraine and you have to prop up a loser. Russia has consolidated the 4 oblasts and Crimea, they are preparing to take Kharkhov and Odessa, they will come back for Kiev. Meanwhile, the west is engaged in supporting another surrogate, who needs money and weapons. Like Ukraine, Israel is another long term liability for the west.

@Dan-jp8jr Iraq did not have the endless support that Ukraine has. Hence Iraq succumbed to the US. If you think the US can crush Russia like Iraq, ask the US to come and fight in Ukraine and you will see the Russians will kill them on the same scale as Ukranians. Therefore the US does not have the guts to fight Russia directly.

@verblvik The IDF has been killing Palestinians indiscriminately for years. I read that the Israelis killed the family of the Palestinian commander of this operation. That is collective punishment, Nazi barbaric style. Let me see you condemn it.

@sprPee Russia did not ever say it will be a 3 day operation. A US general thought so, and you attribute it to Russia. Russia does not announce its offensive, when it will be, and how long it will be. It announced its objectives only - demilitarisation of Ukraine (no NATO) and de-Nazification. Ukraine's counter offensive is going nowhere and the the west is defeated. The west other protege, Israel, is also another liability for the west.
