Europe shot itself in the foot by supporting America's NATO expansion to Ukraine. They have still not developed independent thinking, so currently they are irrelevant. But they might change, so we listen for updates.

  2.  @veraintuizione6497  Initially, America was a force for good in Europe with Marshall Aid and rebuilding of Germany. However, in the last 20 years the US has become a predatory ally. It has dragged Europe into war in Afghanistan, and against Russia, and ME. Lately, the US plays off Eastern Europe against Western Europe. Donald Rumsfeld said in the 1990s that that the US had New Europe (Poland etc.), and Old Europe (France, Germany, Italy etc.) was not relevant. The problem for Europe is there is no leadership. Germany is unable to open its mouth due to the ghosts of its past. France has an idea of an independent Europe but it is isolated. And the other key player in Europe, the UK, does not think it is European, it will always prefer to be the butler of the US.
