  1. That is 20 billion per year - not much. Over 100 billion was spent and Ukraine lost 20% land and is losing more. The whole front may collapse like Nazi Germany in front of the Red Army. Ukraine is a failed state and if anything is left, it will be reliant on EU aid permanently. The EU will fund Ukraine for some time out of false pride caused by defeat.

  3. The US will not allow Europe to become independent. If you grow too big for your boots, the US can help Russia take more - as Trump famously said ! In any case, Europe is a collection of irrelevant states.

  4.  @MTMF.london  The US will not allow its subordinates to become independent. It will stage coups as in Ukraine and have regime change if you tried to be independent.
