  1. Levin sprouts a rant listing China's achievements. China got a contract in Solomon Islands. So what ? Did they get it by invasion ? He is a old fashioned supremacist type longing for Thatcher, Reagan and Churchill. That was in a period that the newly independent countries had not come up and the west could continue with neo-colonialism. However, the era of western dominance and assumed superiority is over. Just as the whites in South Africa had to accept apartheid was not sustainable, the whites in the US have to understand the US cannot succeed by more confrontation and military adventures like Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq. Putin ended the western global order and there is a new non-western world order dawning before our eyes. Live with it and join it or perish.

  2. Why should China (and Russia) not seek influence in Latin America and Africa ? What makes Levin and Reagan think that the US has a God- given right to dictate terms to all country ?
