That is implicit in BASF's announcement that it is going to downsize in Germany and Europe and shift production to China where energy and labour are cheaper. They said energy cost is too high in Germany. China is the biggest importer of energy, but thanks to their good relations with Russia and Saudi, they have cheaper energy than Europe ! Germany's only fault is not having the spine to lead Europe to stand up to America. I guess with its WW2 and Nazi past, Germany does not have the courage to speak against the US.
