Alexei Aristovich who was in the Ukrainian delegation that initialled the proposal in Istanbul has confirmed what Lavrov said : both parties were ready to make a treaty but Boris Johnson scuppered it, and told Ukraine to fight on because victory was in sight. There is no western diplomat of Lavrov's calibre. Western politicians get into an emotional rage when discussing Russia.

  3. It would be less than 3 minutes, as there are Kazen class super quiet Russian submarines patrolling both US coasts. If the hypersonic Sarmat or Kinzhals are launched from these submarines close to the US coast, the Sarmat would reach US cities within seconds. The Ukrainians are finding when the Kinzhals are launched, the missile strikes within a couple of minutes of the siren. That is what happened in Poltava.

  4.  @RoyLock  The west has submarines but not hypersonic missiles. The Russians have hypersonics which if launched from a submarine 12 miles away, will strike in seconds. The message is : don't mess with Russia. Get it ?
