@servantofaeie1569 I understand your "English T before R sounds like CH, so its Чрамп" very well. And i understand you don't get that to a Russian, the generic Russian "чр" is very different from the generic British or American "tr". And like I said, it's a common mistake for non-natives like you seem to be.

@servantofaeie1569 It doesn't.

@servantofaeie1569 It doesn't. I am a native Russian speaker. And you're confusing the Russian "ч" sound with the Ukrainian "ч" or Polish "cz". Don't worry, you're not alone — lots of non-native speakers do that.

@servantofaeie1569 I'm very much in position as I've been living in naturally English-spreading environment for almost 30 years. And I know full well the difference between the voiceless retroflex sibilant affricate and the voiceless alveolo-palatal sibilant affricate. That is "T" in "Trump" is clearly distinct from "ч" in "чрамп" or "чамп" to any functional Russian ear.

@treble8921 It's relatively easy to tell them apart — when they start speaking. Languages and even accents are a dead giveaway. Their names, too.

@Hand-in-Shot_Productions It's not. "Volapuk encoding" could be anything from the Library of Congress transliteration scheme to this weird-ass OCR mishap you refer to. And the latter was used primarily by clueless foreigners, while Russians preferred something like the former.

@t0ny1189 B&B makes mistakes in practically every Russian phrase he utters.
