  4. Because their competence is very, very low. Their workforce is amongst the lowest educated in the world. They are good at making plastic trash and not much else. Their fighters may look good, but they don't sell any because then everyone would know that they are fake. It's just propaganda. Don't fall for it. It's a third world country, but shiny.

  7. I doubt that it was intentional on the part of the CCP, who I believe are largely incompetent, however the net result will be fewer old people which will benefit the state at the expense of the individual. Situation normal for a communist dictatorship.
