  2.  @fpham8004  Radio Free Europe! Now that's a blast from the past. I never listened to it myself, but did tune into Radio Caroline and felt like an outlaw. That was using transistors though. My uncle had an old valve set which he had built and he used to fire it up when we visited. Amazingly both of them are still on the go (and it looks like Radio Free Europe's original remit is appropriate in Russia again). Great memories! All the best.
