  1. Yup, Germany will be fine accepting ever increasing numbers of immigrants. You may not recognise it as Germany anymore though. Or worse, unrestricted immigration may lead to civil war across Europe. Do you know why there's so much tension in the Balkans?

  3. In a major economic downturn, like I expect to happen for the next 5 to 10 years, immigration to the first world will almost stop. Jobs will be scarce and populations will not tolerate it. After that yes, maybe immigration will resume, but I wouldn't be surprised if an anti immigration mindset were to continue.
