  5. It doesn't matter what they say. If China tries (because they don't stand a chance) to invade or even just attack Taiwan - it's war. If China is stupid enough to attack the US then it's WW3. We know it and they know it. It's up to them. Simple.

  7.  @thilomanten8701  Nixon played the situation very well. Ambiguity about the status of Taiwan and if the US would assist was also to the West's advantage. That has now changed. China is reverting to fundamental communism. It used to be that we knew communism was evil. Some are remembering. Either way most people around the world know that China must be stopped from what it wants to do to the world. Soon. And with force. War is coming.

  9. @DbH I used to think like that. Not anymore. It's a liberal "get out of jail free card" to appease the masses and say that it wasn't their fault, it was those bad leaders. Such as after WW2 the German people were good but the Nazis were bad, while forgetting that the people supported them until they were facing defeat. And don't try to tell me that they were entirely ignorant. I've spoken with Germans and they knew much more than they admit to in public. Surveillance, police and military threats by the government against the people are facilitated by the compliance and complicity of those people in the police and military. Without popular support the CCP could do nothing. The same goes for Russia, Iran and North Korea. The entire population is responsible for the actions of that nation. Ultimately the buck always stops with the people if they like it or not.
