  1. The Ukraine does have virtually unlimited resources currently, but I suspect that once the global economic downturn starts to grip then this may change. When Russia first invaded I thought that Putin must have lost his mind. Why wait until the thaw? But the long term debt cycle ending will harm the West, particularly Europe, massively. Conversely, Russia may hardly feel it. I suspect that this is shaping up to be a long war and it is far too early to say that Russia will loose. Is there a possibility of a full Russian mobilization or would the arming of his own population be too great a threat for Putin's regime? I don't know. All the best.
