The USA got dragged screaming and kicking into both (after trying to profit as much as possible before entering, but hey that's business). I fear that it will happen again.   4.  @theforsakeen177  Chinese steel. Do they have enough iron ore? No. Do they have enough coking coal? No. They import it. China is the world's largest importer of food and energy, to name just two critical resources. The US Navy is more than capable of blockading China. I'm not worried about China.
