  1. A couple of things which was said regarding this on the Asianometry video was intriguing: 1. He said that ASML were trying to sell their lower end machines which are currently allowed to be sold to China as fast as possible before more sanctions kick in. 2. ASML probably have a kill switch in their machines which make them inoperable. It's not too much of a leap to speculate that if further sanction against China do kick in blocking the sale of the lower end machines then the USA may insist that the kill switch on Chinese owned machines be implemented. This would kill all aspirations of China to manufacture these chips. Interesting times for China. All the best.
