  3. Because it is now not a case of some 'normal' person just disappearing. It is a case of a drunkard who has disappeared. Police and health professionals had attended their home on 10th January concerned with her welfare. this was an individual who was at high risk of flight/topping herself.

That is if the body is that of the lady and it is found to have been in the river all along! And lastly... The YouTube comment section detectives adamantly stating that she wasn't in the river, whilst struggling to string a proper sentence together!

  19.  @steveblundell7766  He himself said that in 99% of cases when there is a drowning, the person is basically found where they jumped in. So a legend for what? I live in the Shadwell basin and during hotter months, we have many idiots who jump in the basin for a swim. The latest drowning case - it took the police divers all of about 45 minutes to find the poor guy - he was being held down by something. The basin is 10ft deep, and they found him in less than an hour.

All media outlets and especially GB News are 100% complicit in effectively forcing the hands of the police to involve that 'expert' troll diver, even though the police were carrying out searches and have access to the same equipment, 2. Throughout the ordeal of trying to see what happened to this woman, this channel was consistently inviting on 'ex detectives', 'ex police officers' and anyone they could get their hands on to criticise the police - baseless and superficial criticism from afar to create frenzy and hysteria, 3. It was the decision of Nicola's family to gag the police, and not immediately disclose that this was a case of a high risk individual with specific vulnerabilities - those facts being made public was of upmost importance as otherwise the image painted of this lady was one of a model individual, and that the disappearance was totally out of character. 4. Regardless, none of the above would've happened if the media didn't partake in turning this case into a daily running joke. And this cancerous channel has been at the epicentre of it all.

The police have search that river, made a million enquiries, looked at cctv, questioned passers by, motorists etc etc, and yet somehow this is the only priority. And then the cheek on the part of the media to question the effort the police have made in a case where there isn't a single piece of evidence to suggest foul play.

  33.  @neilmcintosh5150  Every year, the police find over 600 bodies that are never even identified. she could've walked off and jumped into the river at a different point knowing it being deeper. And when you have a tidal river, there is every chance she is somewhere in the sea by now. There is zero evidence to suggest she went anywhere else bar being on that bench.

Maybe she walked further down to an area where she knew the river was deeper and jumped in there. According to the police, there is only like a 10 minute period where nobody can confirm seeing her. Sometimes in life, things happen and there are no conclusions or explanation.

For goodness sake we live in the UK. OK our country isn't perfect but we are one of the most developed nations on the planet. Our police forces have access to the same equipment as he does. sonar, dogs, divers, helicopters etc etc. And yet our police force was basically bullied by the media to use some freelancer. Why use someone who has equipment that the force already has?? At least if he was employed by the army or police I could understand. But no....just some bloke looking to give himself and his company publicity.
