Year on year we keep saying 'At this stage, they don't even care anymore'. I'm actually surprised they even bother turning up to Parliament.

Poor fella looks like he's has quite a few sleepless nights. Can only feel sorry for her family. No one deserves to go thru such an event.
52
I think that ship has unfortunately long sailed. Most missing people who are found are found within 24 hours or so.
15
Listen to the sound of that river, fella. She could've just as easily been swept out to sea by now.
11
@jimjam_games5783 plenty of idiots on social media just thinking its some sort of a game, whilst pretending to be crime experts.
10
Just listen to the sound of that river....she could've easily have been swept out to sea by now. This man already said categorically that she isn't in that river, so why is he going about doing the search if he was already that confident?
7
So what now of the YouTube comment section detectives who were adamant that the partner had killed her? They were also adamant that she wasn't in the river, and also were adamant that she was murdered or abducted. Where are these experts now? And where is the 'expert' diver who said that 'if Nicola is in the river, I'll find her'? Bunch of trolls.
5
The area where the bench is, the water is apparently around 8 feet deep - as said by the experts. Also. Who is to say she didn't walk further down and jump in somewhere else? As they have said, a certain part of the river is affected by tides and the other part isn't. I don't want to speculate on whether she is in there or not. BUT. If she is in the river, I'm 100% convinced that she jumped in voluntarily. Most people who commit suicide don't even let it on. That's why all of this must be so difficult for the family. Nobody actually knows anything.
5
@buskingkarma2503 They've found zero evidence of a struggle or anyone else being involved. If she was taken away by someone, that someone would've thrown the mobile in the river. There would be marks along the grounds of a struggle etc.
5
Batko Gele so you're saying that she voluntarily walked away with the person who carried out the abduction?
4
He said only yesterday that she's almost 100% Sure that she isn't in that river. And yet now he's carrying out a search of the water...! makes no sense.
4
Oxygen thief. what have you got to say now?
3
@str8dropx420 whats funny?
3
@frontenac5083 just an opportunity to promote his company and product.
3
@marcusmarshall8357 I don't. That's why I can't stand all the speculation. Just you'd assume that if she was on that in the park and if she was taken by someone, there would be some sign of a struggle etc. And also.
3
@annenunney9907 I understand. But he was on the news yesterday effectively promoting his equipment but at the same time contradicting the police saying that she isn't in that river.
3
@emmajp_9385 that is literally what he did yesterday. he said that he is confident she isn't in that river, and didn't understand why the police have said she is.
3
@GTLeopard spot on! Just the cold water shock alone can incapacitate people! They'll become to shutdown without even realizing that they are before its too late! We have had a lot of drownings where i live on the Shadwell basin for similar reasons! People getting too confident
2
@zacmumblethunder7466 That's true. But Patel refused to turn up for meetings with the home affair's committee when she didn't fancy it, and of course got sacked for arranging and attending meetings with rogue states without the approval of her party or parliament. We could sit here and get humorous about all of this, but they're actually severely damaging what was an apparent democracy.
2
@str8dropx420 sorry?
2
THEIR*!!!! Learn proper grammar before taking to social media!! Why does this case attract so many thick people??
2
@zaksharman It makes me laugh to accuse others of incompetence and being complicit whilst literally being unable to spell incompetent* and complicit* properly. Get a life, troll.
1
@zaksharman Don't confuse 'caring' for intellect. The irony when talking of 'brainpower' when I'm clearly conversing with yet another room temperature IQ'd pleb. You can barely string a sentence together, and yet here you are trying to educate people on a complex investigation. Get a life.
1
@AzguardMike hahaha brilliant! Spot on!
1
@Gobby Which experts? No one knows anything for sure. If they did, they'd have gotten somewhere by now. Thousands of bodies are found each year by police that are never identified. It is obviously a really strange situation, but then how you prove for absolute certainty any scenario unless she's found? all very tragic for the family.
1
@foryourlugsonly didn't they say they've got like forty inspectors on the case and also checking up on some 700 cars that were seen driving in the area? The police Naturally will be doing the best they can but if it is a ten minute window and there are no leads, not sure what they can do!
1
@Gobby how are any of the theories going?
1
@underscoreellipsesdothyphe1563 dogs wouldnt follow her into the river! We have two cocker spaniels - excellent swimmers! But one is not a fan of going unless the other dog is in and so are we! Also! She Could've walked off onto the street whilst the dog was running around! Dogs arent detectives and nor are they all trained to detect scent! If they lose sight of you, they usually panic, and actually tend to not move much from where they are! She Could've done what she did when the dog was not in sight!
1
@underscoreellipsesdothyphe1563 it depends on the dog! Not all dogs react in the same way! If she was in distress, you would've expected for a piece of clothing or even shoes to have been found! That is if she jumped into the river where the bench is! I dont think thats what happened! I think she walked further down and jumped in in an area where the river was deeper and maybe more secluded! That is if she jumped in!
1
@underscoreellipsesdothyphe1563 you are generalising all dogs to have very specific characteristics! Dogs can act territorial but this generally tends to happen in an environment that they consider their home! Our two cockers arent barkers for example, and nor are they trained as guard dogs! You have to actually train a dog to be protective of its owner, and again only a few breeds are qualified for that! Dogs can actually become distracted quite easy and snap out of situations unless trained! It would even be that willow was trained to sit! Maybe she told willow to see near the fence or bench and once she was out of sight, the dog then began wandering, but never leaving that area!
1
@underscoreellipsesdothyphe1563 @underscoreellipsesdothyphe1563 regrettably you are very misinformed! We had shadow and he was a street dog rescued from romania! Because of how he was treated on the streets, he had no interest in other people and generally only felt comfy going out when on the leash! It took around three years of being with us for it to finally even acknowledge strangers knocking on the door! Instead of barking or confronting, its first instinct was to go and hide! We dont know of willow as a dog, why he was left where he was etc! Shouldn't place too much emphasis on that aspect as an indication of what happened!
1
@tobylerone4285 Would you want to turn up for the Tory wannabe Starmer conversing with you, let alone asking questions? Listening to Miliband actually made me long for those days, instead of the monotonal corner shop solicitor talking me to sleep.
1
@django3422 you say they should but Patel would refuse to appear before the home affair's committee, whilst this new tax cutting plan also hasn't been given the opportunity to be discussed in parliament. that on top of them also refusing to release the economic forecast for the country in the same week. At this stage, they feel they can do whatever they like.
1
@zacmumblethunder7466 To us it might seem inappropriate, obscene or unprofessional, but these people are entitled. If you grow up like a Boris or Rees Mogg, life of plenty and liberally being allowed to act however you see fit seems completely normal. They most certainly feel they deserve all of these over the top privileges, raise in pay etc. After all, they're not there to stand up and represent those using food banks or the homeless. You already know this, but why do you think almost all of these so called MP's retire as rich multi millionaires?
1
GB News for one have been central to the frenzy, conspiracy theories and consistently looking to encourage nonsense being spread.
1
It's the family who refuse to share info regarding why Nicola is high risk or vulnerable. Not the police's fault.
1
The only disappointment is that the bombs he placed in the barracks of mass baby killers were fake.
1
@PatriciaBrown1711 who is batko?
1
@PatriciaBrown1711 who is batko gele? A make of jelly?
1
@aykutlondon4784 Why are all turks wannabe be tough weasels?
1
@teddyturner6859 Irony of calling me a muppet, when you can't even distinguish between when to use THEIR* and there. Typical pleb.
1
@evolassunglasses4673 I absolutely hate it when people can't write properly. Reeks of laziness and carelessness.
1
@str8dropx420 got what right all along? Are you a child? Why do you keep crying?
