One of my happiest memories was when I had a Croatian girlfriend, and with her friends we would go to the mountains for a picnic and make our own cepavcici. cevapcici in Croatia is great too.

My mum is Bresciana and dad Milanese. I'm glad this programme respected the origins of this dish π

Β @Dosadniste2000Β Aw grow up. You all speak the same language. Just separated yourselves due to politics and the curse of religion.

No chips beats proper fish and chip shop chips. I don't really get to eat fish and chips often - maybe once a year. But if you have chips from a proper chippy, then vinegar is a must. It just complements the hearty chips so well. As for the fish - the batter and quality of fish can be a bit of a hit and miss. So if you can find a good chippy, then you just stick with them.

it's more like...here you go, there is your curry ketchup with a side of sausage π

all out food is simple. the Americans have bastardised it and complicated it.

As a Milanese, I ADORE the Austrian German accent. So much character and personality. But I'm sorry to say that our Cotoletta is better π

The world just can't help itself when wanting to use Italian food names in YouTube videos. Call something the whatever version of an Italian dish and you'll get views. Put Maultawhatever and nobody unless German will care for it. Call it the German version of RAVIOLI and people come to see what its all about. Shameless use of our cuisine for views.

Here in Italy, we literally only eat this dish when we are sick π

βΒ @fabulist4205Β I've never had it in Zagreb. whenever in Zagreb, I usually go and eat at my hero boban's restaurant. we just make cepavcici for ourselves when having picnics. best days.

Been to Hungary twice. Worst country in europe for food. Very meat oriented, but they don't know how to cook. Sorry.

Β @Kivas_FajoΒ More specifically, Lombardo! Ive already seen plenty of strunz making a mess of ossobuco on this platform! Risotto as well would be too much!

Β @Kivas_FajoΒ My friend, I live in Lovran near Opatija. My wife is Croatian πI live for my mother in-law's traditional Croatian food. I couldn't live without her palacinke and sarma. If I want good risotto, I would go back to Travagliato π

As a northern Iitalian, you can't accuse me of bias. I urge you to also go to Roma for pizza. Roman Pizza is superior to Pizza Napoletana.

I didn't know that the Bavarian accent is almost like Swiss πIt sounds a lot both primitive and unrefined. Easier to understand.

Pronounced SH*T-bullar? π

I don't know why but I really expected the dish to contain a stout or beer of some sort.

Invented in Germany, my Kurdish backside. Putting the kebab in bread is basically shawarma. Are they going to claim Shawarma too?

I think the title should say 'why THE WORLD loves pizza'.
