  1. I could literally relate to everything this poor man said. The difference with me was that the bullying was racially motivated. My parents are surgeons and were invited to come and work in the UK from Italy. I was enrolled in a school in the UK where at the time, I was literally the only foreign kid in my entire year. The area was a very English area and unlike London which is very cosmopolitan, I was pretty much the odd one out. I was picked on by cowards simply for being different. They used to vandalise my school work, constantly heckle me when I would play football and even in cookery class when we'd be asked to make things, they'd turn the oven off so that whatever we were being asked to bake wouldn't cook. It wasn't just one or two either. One day when we were playing rugby in PE, around 10 of them jumped on top of me whilst on the floor. I could hardly breath. The teachers did absolutely nothing about it. And when I would confront the bullies outside of school, I would get punished in school for starting a fight. The school - the entire fraternity of teachers never raised their voices against the bullies. Never did they punish them or give them detention for all of the bad words spoken towards me. And the funny thing is, now those very bullies want to be my friend on Facebook. Unsurprisingly, most of them haven't got anywhere in life.
