  1. I live in the UK, and institutionally it is probably the most corrupt country in the world. The police are corrupt to the core. The financial institutions have 90% of their capital in tax havens, and the politicians not only retire as multimillionaire, but making donations to private political parties lands you a seat in the House of Lords. And yet, you will never hear the media utter the corruption words. Corruption is something that only happens in Asia, Africa and elsewhere apparently.
