USA found copper and other commodities in Afghanistan, and such resources being an opportunity to open Afghanistan up for business. Do that regardless of instabilities, and make your pleasures whilst you can in the meantime (steal). USA's involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan has nothing to do with solving problems. The same for destruction of Libya or geopolitical warfare vs Syria. This is all about money and stealing resources.
