Everything she stated regarding her experience with her parents resonated with me. In my case though, I was actually doing well in school, wasn't hanging around with druggies or getting up to anything bar playing football and wanting to socialize. But the successes at school were seen as expected, whilst anything that they weren't happy with was magnified and make into a big issue. So from that point of view, I fully understand the frustration, anger, resentment and also the want to even not to exist. But to actually kill your parents or even wish them harm? That is not in any way shape or form the rational reaction of a normal child. But we all react differently to emotionally challenging situations. When you feel trapped, the fear and or anger is going to, unfortunately, manifest itself in many different ways.

@ypcomchic when you're trapped, ground down with insecurities of being told you're not good enough, the chances of being taken advantage of by a supposedly warm and caring person is very likely. I don't want to say 'the poor girl', but she never had a chance. From disappointment in sports to failed studies and the worst type of boyfriend. You're definitely right.

@Simpleton_X I don't know if you're trying to trivialize a really serious issue like in the video or just being stupid. My parents are both surgeons. Mum is a gynaecologist and dad is a breast cancer surgeon. The only issue was that as their eldest child and only son, they desperately wanted me to be a doctor. I thought was always more interested in the humanities subjects, languages and sports. Thankfully though, they're now happy as my youngest sister is a general practitioner. I escaped the pressures when I went off to university to study law and history. Thankfully and unlike the girl in this video, the people outside of the home in the shape of friends were good influences and not bad ones. I now have my own place in London, a good job, and independent life. Mum and dad are still practicing and very content people. The older they have gotten, the more they realized the unfairness of the treatment and circumstances. Thankfully they supported my sisters in a more well-rounded way and they're doing OK. Kids murdering their parents is not funny. My comment was a serious response to the video. Don't try and trivialize what is a serious issue and subject.
