  1. My observations as a non-americas: 1. This man just shot someone post being pushed onto the floor. In the police station, he is almost treated with the respect usually given to a respected visitor. They've just pulled a man into custody post a shooting and they almost allow him to make the decision of having his handcuffs taken off. Astonishing. 2. If you see a car parked where it shouldn't, it is not your duty to enforce the law as a citizen. Instead of confronting whoever it was in the vehicle, he should've gone into the store, enforced the store owner or worker and let them as well as the relevant authorities deal with the situation. 3. He clearly tells the interviewer that the person who he shot hit him, when in fact, he was pushed. He also stated that when his gun was drawn, the victim of the shooting took a step towards him before being shot. Both of these statements are clearly lies. 4. His reaction to when being told that the person he had shot was dead was / is not the normal reaction of a normal person in my humble opinion. I can only horrifyingly imagine being told I'd killed someone...I'd most likely be in fear, overcome by worrying and shock and would definitely struggle through that interview / interrogation. His personal thought and conviction that he did the right thing completely overrides his sense of humanity and human feelings. Odd and extremely worrying. 5. Whilst I can understand him truly believing he did the right thing, his answer to being asked if he'd change anything regarding the incident is astonishing. Surely any normal human being would say 'I really wish none of this happened' or 'I really wish no one ended up losing their lives'. Yet he astonishingly says that he would change nothing. 6. Also. As legal counsel but someone who doesn't work in criminal law, the defendant's lawyer's facial expressions when the prosecution list out their closing argument to the jury is embarrassing. A man has died and yet he is literally laughing and smirking. Abhorrent. Long story short. DON'T CARRY A GUN!
