My youngest sister has had 3 cars bought for her by myself and parents ever since she passed her test. A brand new VW Beatle which she basically ran into the ground - everything covered in makeup and mess everywhere, a brand new mini which she wrote off post driving it despite an engine light being on and a blown head gasket, and now she's 18 months into driving a Range Rover. The only person who cleans it is me, and I've had to refurbish her wheels not once but three times. Unlike the owner of this car, my sister doesn't have kids either. For some people, a car is just a carrier from A to B. No sense of pride in ownership. Number of owners means absolutely nothing. You just need one careless owner to ruin a car.
