  1. Can SKY and BT stop with ex players, co-commentating on their former teams, please?? Once seemingly soundly beaten, Smith starts listing excuses as to Arsenal's failing. 'small squad', 'young squad', 'stretched to the limit' bla bla. Spent £160m this summer, sent out Saliba on loan whilst paying £50m+ for white, and had the £70m+ Pepe sat on the bench.🤣 And no, it wasn't that Arsenal 'didn't get going'. Newcastle came out of the block hungry, sharp and doing everything for the cause. Fact is that the Arsenal players just couldn't stomach the fight. They probably thought Newcastle's players were already thinking of the beach, and that it would be 3 easy points.
