That on top of China imposing sanctions on bigger companies in china transferring assets to outside of china. They had to sell a percentage of the club to get loans, and have also asked players to take pay cuts and deferred wages. They won the league through spending not within their means. This isn't the premier league where clubs get paid a lot from tv for just turning up. Inter just couldn't make the numbers work.
