  8.  @bargepoled  You're basically undermining all of the nonsense you're coming out with when answering them yourself. Imagine that in their hour of need, man utd finally get their hands on this apparent revolutionary? So why give him only a 6 month contract?? It makes absolutely no sense. Do you really believe that he'll be trusted to follow thru with being a consultant at man utd if the results on the pitch in these 6 months end up being dire?? What happens if Rangnick ends up having a 'successful' 6 months? The players and fans liking him let's say. Will the club still send him to another role? As I've already stated, there is no doubt that rangnick is a good man. A football man. BUT. Germany since 2017 have been going thru a torrid time. A real reset button situation post the disaster that was the 2018 wc and euro's. IF Ralf was so educated on setting things up, why hasn't he been consulted by the people in his country, who evidently know him best?? Why hasn't a major european football club consulted and hired ralf to take some sort of critical role within either their management or coaching setup? Hiring a 'manager' for 6 months shows weakness and indecision. It shows that man utd want a get out option. I'm not saying that ralf won't do well at man utd. ffs one of our most mediocre coaches in ranieri won a premier league title. With football, you never know. PS. steady what ship?? it's not like man utd are facing relegation. They're into the second round of the champ league and not exactly far from the top 4. Ragnick's job is to get man utd into the top 4. Anything else and it would be a failure.
