@bargepoled leading to the rise of Leipzig and Salzburg? Those clubs got taken over by rich owners. Even hasenhuettl managed to guide Leipzig to 2nd place. If rangnick was such an unbelievable coach, then why wasn't he trusted to follow thru with his so called philosophy and still be in charge of the first team? Instead he has to go and work in Russia. Ralf's greatest achievement was the way he got schalke playing in the mid 00's. Even then they couldn't land that all elusive title. Not even a second German wife will help you with your delusion. Combined, Ralf spent all of two seasons at Leipzig. Certainly not at the beginning of their cycle and rise thru the divisions. You're making out that this man was the effin architect of their rise thru the divisions 😂

@bargepoled sweetheart, we've had such structures in place in Italy since the 1960's. Are man Utd hiring a dietician or a coach ffs?? Man Utd are supposed to be one of England's biggest clubs. A club with a lot of resources. Are you really trying to convince yourself that Ralf who's best days were 15 years ago is good enough to coach man Utd? Every club in the Premier League has people brought in to manage academies, way of playing, training etc etc. A person wo sits upstairs and sets up such a model isn't necessarily a coach. If it was that easy, you can get a CEO to come downstairs and manage the first team. Have man Utd hired a diet guru or a coach ffs?? Simple minded thinking? You're the one trying to convince thickheads like yourself that ralf if a top coach! Haha

Liverpool have klopp. Man City have Pep. Man Utd have hired a guy who's best period as a coach was back in 2005 when I was at uni. 😂😂😂

@bargepoled football is not only about 'developing' tactics, but also implementing them. You're talking like the style of play wasn't somehow in existence ffs. Go and watch sacchi's Milan or pep's Barcelona, dumbass. They were all high energy sides. Rangnick is a decent man. But a top coach he has never been. When I was watching his schalke side, you weren't even born. Now go and steal some more content and copy and paste here.

@bargepoled I know for a fact that until the media started regurgitating this utter tripe, you'd never ever even heard of him. Structure, tactics and philosophy that brought 'success'??? What success? What did he win at schalke? A league title? What have hoffenheim and Leipzig won? Ask your thick head one question. If rangnick was such an incredible coach, how is it that at 63, he has never managed a single top club? How is it that this genius was never given the German job or a job by bayern munich? The only fool here is another child of the Armchair fanatical generation who goes and watches a couple of videos and then pretends to be educated on football.

@bargepoled hahaha the typical response when a superficial plastic fanatic gets stuck. Imagine a Leipzig fan reading this. This clown making out that rangnick literally built their club hahaha. A man with less trophies than some of the most mediocre coaches in history, and here you are promoting him as some sort of a revolutionary. 2 season at Leipzig clown. All the money and resources at schalke and still amounted to nothing. Keep spreading utter tripe.

@bargepoled You're basically undermining all of the nonsense you're coming out with when answering them yourself. Imagine that in their hour of need, man utd finally get their hands on this apparent revolutionary? So why give him only a 6 month contract?? It makes absolutely no sense. Do you really believe that he'll be trusted to follow thru with being a consultant at man utd if the results on the pitch in these 6 months end up being dire?? What happens if Rangnick ends up having a 'successful' 6 months? The players and fans liking him let's say. Will the club still send him to another role? As I've already stated, there is no doubt that rangnick is a good man. A football man. BUT. Germany since 2017 have been going thru a torrid time. A real reset button situation post the disaster that was the 2018 wc and euro's. IF Ralf was so educated on setting things up, why hasn't he been consulted by the people in his country, who evidently know him best?? Why hasn't a major european football club consulted and hired ralf to take some sort of critical role within either their management or coaching setup? Hiring a 'manager' for 6 months shows weakness and indecision. It shows that man utd want a get out option. I'm not saying that ralf won't do well at man utd. ffs one of our most mediocre coaches in ranieri won a premier league title. With football, you never know. PS. steady what ship?? it's not like man utd are facing relegation. They're into the second round of the champ league and not exactly far from the top 4. Ragnick's job is to get man utd into the top 4. Anything else and it would be a failure.
