Struggled vs a woeful Croatia, outplayed by a woeful Scotland, finished the game with 3 holding midfielders on the pitch vs Czech, absolutely horrendous match vs Germany, good performance vs a completely bereft of energy mediocre Ukraine, couldn't score in 90 minutes vs Denmark and needed the referee. If Italy hadn't had to play 2 finals vs top opposition just to reach the final, the final would've been a massacre. I mean it was already a footballing massacre anyway. Insipid, can't pass, can't keep possession, wasting time from the 5th minute of a final played at home. Utterly hopeless.

@BigSmokeMUFC champions leagues? The last 3 winners...Chelsea and Liverpool. Both competitive thanks to Russians and yanks. It's not like an English owned club or coach can take credit. Even sky which effectively saved the Premier League from the doldrums is owned by an Australian.

My team plays good football, one of the youngest squads in europe, operating within its means with very good players and an Italian manager. We have set the standard along with the Spanish for decades producing not only top quality talent but also amazing coaches. You sit on your armchair and take in a league that has absolutely no connection with neither fanbases, grassroots or anything remotely that isn't plastic. We on the other hand have europe's best national team. Pride of Europe 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆. Go and throw racist abuse at your own players.

If Grealish was any other nationality, he'd be max a £10m player. He can't even get into his woeful country's starting 11. But as with these overhyped and overrated English players, they generally tend to have the safety net of playing alongside superior foreign talent. I can only assume this is a 'homegrown' quota motivated signing.
