In only her second majors, Emma has achieved more than any female tennis player in this country for well in excess of 4 decades! That is on par with Sir Mo Farah and his achievements at distances at which Brits never had any previous success. What she has done is truly groundbreaking.

@mountaindragon7289 well the consistency has indeed been an issue for a long time in women's tennis. But you can only beat who is in front of you. Fernandez had knocked out 3 seeds on her way to the final, and raducanu beat sakkari who is definitely a future top 10er. To WIn a major in only her second tournament is incredible!

@UCORqX-sP2bOka4xks46Uv3g I'm happy you don't think they're 'British'. Just gives me and my sisters even more laughter. Both of my sisters went to the same school as Emma, growing up in Locksbottom. We try and excel, whilst people like you have the complex. I came across quite a few like you when in school.
