  1. The reality is that it has achieved nothing. No matter how hard they work to highlight the issue, players are getting racially abused weekly on social media. They're hardly if ever punished. Now, they want to say 'yeh, we ask them to take the knee so we are doing something vs racism'. it is indeed a tick box exercise on the part of the decision makers.
