Inside job. How did they know he had a safe and how is it they only took the safe?

that's like hoping for world peace. Police in the UK do not help victims who suffer burglaries. they don't care.

@DJ-mc1qt I'm sure there were jewellery in there but of course they wouldn't want to make everything public whilst it's an investigation. I'd bet my life they were tipped off by someone who had seen that safe and had been in that house.

@NeverTrustaSocialist that's just disgraceful. A cretin tailgated into our gated complex 3 times in two days and used angle grinders to steal three bikes before I caught him. The police turned up and spoke to me like I had done it. Condescending, patronising and almost questioning what I'd seen with my own eyes.

@NeverTrustaSocialist of course it's infuriating. The police officer was talking to me like I was a child. When I said he has stolen the bikes...his response was...yeh, but we don't know that for sure. I said...I saw him with my own eyes and here's a photo. we also have cctv. He was still like...yeh but that isn't conclusive. I ended up spending 3 hours filling in a witness report and someone saw my post on Facebook and even told me the thief's name. This was also passed onto the police, but still no action. they told me its hard to secure a case for arrest.
