  3.  @nt._7  inter play with a three man defense usually with the two 'wingers' high up the pitch! Duty is on the two wider center backs to take up the full back roles when in possession! Perisic does his business in the opposition half of the pitch but is also strong in a tackle and positionally very aware! He isn't a wing back! He's a winger!

  4. Bale's problem at Real Madrid was PR. A. He has the personality of a cardboard box, and B. Never learned the language. The club provided him with an unbelievable platform, and he duly delivered. But when you seem distant, are distant and not ingrained into what the club is, he was easy to pick on when form went downhill. Plus the whole Wales nonsense of getting excited over winning a club of meaningless internationals cemented the thought that bale was at Real Madrid only for himself.
