But it is also important to point out that Inter have financial problems brought on by the pandemic. Their owners are Chinese and during the pandemic, the Chinese government have effectively placed an embargo on the movement of large capital out of china to abroad. So at the moment, Inter's owners are effectively looking for investment from investors outside of china to overcome this issue. Naturally the longer the problem persists, the more likely it is that they might have to sell their assets. I believe they've already had to make some rearrangements of the payments to Real Madrid for Hakimi.
