Stuart Webber - a British football administrator and former director at Norwich city was recently caught on tape highlighting 5 black players (mentioned Raheem sterling) as potential jailbirds had they not made it as footballers.

@johnvalentine8941 WOW! Congrats! The majority of those mentioned are of African origin! African black kids are doing better in school than white English! And you've just proven that in spectacular fashion! Congrats!

Racism like other forms of prejudice are taught in the home, and then end up trickling from one generation to the next. I spent 2 years in an English school. Kids of 13/14 were spewing vile xenophobia that I didn't understand or comprehend as a Kurdish child. Some grow up and correct their ways. Others grow up, fail in life, marriage etc and they find attacking people who look different to them as their own insecurities coming to the fore.

Stereotyping and spreading demeaning and destructive slurs regarding groups is the most destructive form of racism. It is stereotyping that keeps people back. I worked as recruitment director for a top 10 PM consultancy for 7 years. Racism, sexism, homophobia etc in boardrooms deny people opportunities. I once sat in on a debrief post the interview of an associate director. The board decided vs the hire because as the individual was muslim, they assumed that he wouldn't drink. And given the fact that the client on that account loved to go to the pub, the business decided it was better to higher a person who would be more willing to frequent the pub. @mannypounds4220
