Damned if you do and damned if you don't. I don't think southgate is a good coach, but no matter who is the coach, there will be criticism as to squad picks. I mean just look at France. They've picked Digne at left back over Theo hernandez. Lingard should've been a pro, kept his mouth shut during the tournament and remain diplomatic. Whenever things aren't going well, the media as well as ex players and current players are quick to criticise. A manager can't please everyone. @harukrentz435 now is not the time. After the tournament yes. The knives are already out post Scotland game. Why no grielish initially, now why no sancho etc etc. And if it goes tits up, why didn't he take lingard. This blame game culture needs to stop and actually place responsibility on who is at the tournament than making the effort to interview players that aren't there.
