Do you remember when Rooney handed in a transfer notice at Man Utd, and ended up staying? Did he sulk in that period or after? No. Top class players have a sense of duty to themselves! They brush aside momentary issues and concentrate on the here and now. Kane's issue is not the fact he didn't get his transfer. His issue is that he just hasn't been good for a long time. He is past his best, but the media and the English won't admit that until they're ready to see him as used goods.
