Belgium did to Portugal what Portugal did to France in the last Euro's. The better side losing and the winning side just scoring. Commiserations to Portugal. They can go home proud after that performance. I thought portugal were very poor in the group stage but tonight they really showed their class. Did absolutely everything bar score. Patricio should've done better on the hazard shot. Practically in the middle of the goal.

@junesdb9968 you can question the midfielder and defence for not closing down hazard! But the shot was in the middle of the goal and Patricio was nowhere near it.

@Pessidog10 fair judgement if the ball had ended up in the side of the goal, top corner or bottom corner. Given the proximity he was to the ball when it went past him, he should've saved it. Took a needless gamble and paid for it.

@ThePinguPenguin Wales beat Belgium completely vs the odds. It's not like it was easy. Ultimately, you have to beat who you come up against. Knockout football goes like that. You can't be at your best for every game. Even Spain who were incredible in 2010 World Cup lost the first game vs Switzerland. The amazing Spain of 2012 euro's also started slow vs Italy in first game.
