@environm3ntalist549 because he's an attacking midfielder, clown. Attacking midfielders are supposed to create and chip in with goals. Not world class? The guy played for two of Europe's greatest clubs and was involved in well in excess of 110 plus goals. Utter nonsense. Ps. He has played in Germany, England, Spain, Portugal and France. It shows that when he plays, you're pretty much guarantees goals or goal creation. He just didn't adapt to settling for a C level club.

@PenaltyKicc yes, because it's tropical weather in Munich. I think unfortunately Everton was a massive step down, and maybe he doesn't have the mentality to adapt. Obviously had injury issues too. These aren't excuses. Just the reality.

@masaukochitsamba7808 I'm not sure what's difficult to understand. Think of it as direct contribution to goals. James goal/assist ratio to game is nearly 0.6 per game. Go and look up other attacking midfielders for his generation and see how he compares. I'm not here to educate you.

Maldini never won the European or world player of the year, but he was still work class. As a midfielder, James has been recognized with individual accolades at every single elite club.
