It already is the case. If you want to sign medical staff or coaches, you have to pay compensation. They're also in contracts. Have you never played football manager?

This man's team are second in their league and champions league semi-finalists last season. If he leaves, he goes to a team that is genuinely fighting for titles. Why on earth would he take a risky job like that of spurs, when he manages a team that is well organised, well managed, and consistently competing. They knocked man utd out of the champions league this season.

@closethedoornow7538 spot on. It's because people could technically follow something without actually knowing much about it.

@joelthorpe4170 No, they don't. Each member of staff is on a separate contract. There are situations where they can resign and resignations are accepted or they're released if they came in with the manager. But either way, compensation is normality.

Spurs? WTF 😂 The man is currently with a team who are 2nd in their league. Last year, he reached the champions league semi final. This season, they knocked man utd out of the champions league. Asking him to go to spurs is like asking a well performing premier league player to go and play for a relegation fighting club. Why on earth would he do that? Managers want to step up, not down. That's unless they're unemployed. He goes to Bayern Munich, he joined a team that is primed to compete in every competition. He goes to spurs post two manager sackings in a year or so, out of the champions league and potentially losing their best players. Why would he do that??
