You can have the best fans on the planet but if the quality isn't there, the team will flounder. I know this personally with my local club. I haven't missed a Milan game for 19 years. Yes we haven't been in the same situation as Everton have been facing. But if you don't have the players, manager and owners all pulling in the same direction, you'll face tough times. We have had change of owners, managers, turnover of players et - many of whom were never good enough for Milan. You can support them and back there but ultimately they weren't good enough when we were really struggling. Everton need a proper manager. That's their first priority.
