Inherent delusion on the part of the English can never allow them to just say 'we tried our best, it wasn't enough and well done to the opposition'. No, they either have to bash their own players, the manager and the media going crazy. Or....delusional thinking that apparently england were better even though at no stage were they in the lead vs France. And then of course, blaming everyone and anyone for being corrupt. This is why you you don't progress. You fill the minds of the players with delusion. laughing stock.

@jaybee4288 could be. But it could also be the cost of living and Christmas around the corner. people aren't as willing to go out and spend loads on drinks etc. Or maybe also realism.
