  1. Milan fan here. I'm trying to come up with reasoning for this signing, but really struggling. Maldini says we need experience in the squad, but Giroud brings nothing at this stage of his career. He hardly played for Chelsea under Tuchel, hardly if ever got on the pitch at the Euro's and his style of play with have him mauled by defenders in this league. He can't run, lacks mobility and he just doesn't fit our style of play at all. Mystified.

  2.  @jommzom9715  the last time giroud scored more than 8 goals in a league season was in 2016/17 season...when he was still with Arsenal. This isn't about banter or meaningless talk. This is about a 34 year old who does not belong to this level.

  3.  @zafirulrahi1124  Pirla, I've been watching Milan since the age of 5. I know my club better than any rude lowlife. I know what we need and what will be a failure and success. When you hold a season ticket since the age of 7 and know my club, then come back and talk.

I know giroud is intelligent but the last time he scored more than 8 league goals, he was still with Arsenal. We don't need intelligence. The squad has that in abundance. We need goalscorers.

  6.  @MU-kg7kg  But that's not where are at this stage. The team is back in the champions league and we are not at a stage to be 'pleasantly surprised'. Ibra is the experienced striker. We also have young players needing game time. We needed a mobile centre forward. Either one to play instead of Ibra, or given us the flexibility to place two upfront, with the second striker being more mobile and stretch defences.

What giroud is and was is not my problem. I'm talking about what we need as a club. We don't need Giroud. He is minimum 3 seasons past anything remotely near his best.
