  1. I'm from Kurdistan, northern Iraq. I had to spend 2 years in an English school in year 9 and year 10. I was astonished how the events around WW1 and WW2 were taught, up to the extent that I was basically shutdown by my then 'teacher' to stop disclosing historical details from my past, that she found inappropriate/not relevant to the curriculum. The British RAF in the 1920's and 1930's dropped the forerunner to Napalm and delay action bombs on my great grandparents and grandparents. A fact that we found out later was classified by the british government in their own country for over 7 decades. So when I'd raise such incidences during history lessons and the whole charade of WW2 being the case of good vs evil, I was shutdown with a lot of force. I Absolutely detested those two years. I Was so happy when we went home. They were just helping to produce another generation of ignorant people.
