@Emma-pl9gt There is no evidence of an abduction, murder or rape in this particular scenario. Those who are on the sex offender's register and their locations are available for all of the public to see. So I don't really know what your point is exactly?! A woman has gone missing - thousands and thousands go missing each year and nearly 20% are never found.

Well in excess of 150K people go missing on average in the UK each year. Nearly 20% are never found. The police also recover some 4,000 plus unidentified bodies each year. The question is - what is so special about this case? Nothing, bar the case of 'missing white woman syndrome'. The police have said they believe there is no criminality involved and there clearly isn't sign of one. All this money being spent makes no sense. If she is in the water or regrettably dumped somewhere, someone will find her. Time to move on.
