The least depreciating Aston Martin in history. In the UK, a Cygnet with the lowest miles is currently listed for just under £40,000. That's nearly $49,000.

The over exaggerated laughing, mocking, belittling and just comically pointing out aspects of the car is just super annoying.

@RevLexus why? I have an abarth that i use to get around the city! Much nicer and i got it for half the price!
15
@BruceTheSillyGoose you wrote pavements not paved roads! Two very different things! In the uk, a pavement is what americans call a sidewalk!
5
@yzstormer why, who are you? The video content police? It's the comment section and people voice their opinions! If you don't like it, you can scrawl back into his ass.
5
@artizan08 inflation or not, most cars generally lose value! But the cygnet despite its age is still priced more than a lot of brand new cars!
4
@RevLexus Nice one! I haven't seen a cygnet in a while around London.
2
@BruceTheSillyGoose why would you be driving on pavements??

Porsche reliability is notoriously strong?? Where is he getting this from?? Porsche as a manufacturer sits almost at the bottom of the Warranty Direct Reliability Index, which isn’t good news at all. Having said that, the Panamera's main rivals are also from manufacturers that don’t have a particularly stellar reputation for reliability, either, with Bentley, Jaguar, mercedes and bmw all languishing in the bottom half of the table as well. Also. It doesn't have poor fuel economy. A diesel Porsche Panamera can and does average around 40mpg. I know that because I bought one for my dad.
2
In the UK, Jeep is not a well thought of car. You buy it and 5 months later, it's lost 50 percent of its value. The inside also looks like a typical American car. Looks shite.
2
@MoogerTuber yes, but this one is more elaborate and more exaggerated! It's the typical yank trying to ridicule Soviet era simplicity vs what he considers more worthy which is opulence!
2
I'm Italian, so you can call me biased. But really not. Would I pay full price for a Maserati? No. But if I can that much money, would I buy this Maserati over the cars he listed? 100% Yes! The styling of the Maserati is a one off. It is beautiful. but that's just my opinion.
1
7 for cool factor? for 99.99% of people, nothing could be cooler than driving A Ferrari.
1
I don't care how good they are and how well built they are, Porsche car designs are woeful. They all look like a compressed vw beetle.
1
Anyone who has been 'lucky' enough to drive one will know that it is very very slow. And also it isn't all that great around corners either. Cars have come along way since then.

1 month into the first covid lockdown in the UK, I had a one hour 'fight' with my dad begging him to go halves with me and purchase a black series that had done only 3K miles for £92K. He thought I was absolutely crazy and just flushing our money down the toilet. Fast forward to last month, I sold it for just a little over £145K. That's just under $160K. The black series is no longer a $125K unless it has a lot of miles on it.
1
I can only assume he's referring to American consumers and their assumptions. In Europe, anyone who knows anything about cars knows that an AMG GT is a sports car. In the UK, you can pick up a 2016 reg that has done around 55K miles for just over £50,000.
1
01:56. It's leaking right behind the front tyre.
1
24:35. Say what you like but I'd pick it over every single one of those cars above it. Also disagree on it looking aged. I actually think it has aged beautifully.
1
It has a spoiler on the trunk....2L saloon 😂😂😂😂
1
@artizan08 what?
1
@FrancescoDondi people who are very touchy about their image.
1
He just said a car that has over 700 pound feet of torque not quite living up to modern rivals 😂
1
Don't mean to be a buzzkill but you can't really include cars that weren't production cars. Aw and the compact is probably the ugliest BMW I've ever seen. I've only ever seen one in the UK, and I initially thought it wasn't a real BMW.
1
2/10 for practicality - 2 seats and a trunk...it's a sports car.....
1
I bought my one during covid. Only 35,000 miles on the clock and I paid less than £50,000.
1
Lighting style stolen from alfa Romeo Brera.
1
really comforting to see that Doug finally being able to properly pronounce carsandbids. In earlier videos, he pronounces it like an Italian immigrant from those old movies. carzz-ANDA-bids.
1
I live in the UK and have never heard of it.
1
Kia STINKER
1
Contrary to what dough says, I feel the styling reminds me more of the mark one CLS than the S class. It just looks like a beefier CLS on the outside.
1
Explain this to me. why is it when cars have engines at the front, there tends to be ample boot space at the back. And yet when the engine is placed mid / at the black, the boot at the front somehow could just about fit a toddler in. Why?
1
01:54. Doug can't pronounce 'thorough'.
1
@orangecayman520 I 'can't use grammar'? Please do elaborate, even though I imagine that will be tough given that you've started a sentence with lower case and it barely making sense.
1
@orangecayman520 my sentence contained a d at the end of the word 'pronounce'. Given that I was criticising his poor pronunciation of an English word and I happen to be a native speaker, we clearly have a case of a typo! And no, your sentence is not grammatically correct! Grammar is not a car, pleb. If you said that my sentence was grammatically incorrect, then you'd have indeed been right.
1
Doug just doesn't understand the allure of the Maserati name and brand. I can only guess this is because he's American.
1
@Timesplitter888 in your opinion!
1
I swear to you, you could price that car at 80K and no one would bat an eyelid. It does not and it is not a one million dollar car. Would I swap it for my alfa Romeo quadrifoglio? Feck no. Mine with options etc cos just over 80K. Whoever pays over a million for that car either has too much money or no sense and too much money.
1
I've heard of it because...I have one.
1
Arguably the ugliest car Mercedes has ever built.
1
If hardly any of them survived, do you think the buyers of the time cared about some of the over the top knit picking? No storage compartment in the back doors? if I was 17 or 18 and I had this car...hell even early 20's, do you think I'd have cared about the buttons that operate the windows? it was a 20K car ffs and it was and IS quick. He's talking about its interior as if he's inspecting an S class Mercedes.
1
@Mike A I wouldn't touch a land rover if my life depended on it! Overpriced, costly to run and personality-less! Yet they sell lots especially in the home counties!
1
Doug's Italian heritage comes through when he pronounces 'cars and bids'. He can't just say cars and bids, but instead it's 'cars and-a bids'.
1
Why does he pronounce black as blaaaaahk series?
1
Is it just me or does the body styling look dated? doesn't look like a 2020 car.
1
06:38. Me to my dinner in the microwave
1
Doug is the kind of guy of Italian descent who can't pronounce Italian car names properly. 🙈 04:24. VegliaFlash. It isn't ve G lia. The G is silent, Dough. VeliaFlash. Basically means stop watch.
1
08:34. Errr my C63 507 from 2013 has 'dials that you rotate' to change the temperature. It isn't all that draconian, doug
1
Doug gets excited by kia's and not Maserati's. 100% sponsored to do this crap.
1
Do the video again about the Ferrari without the turd on your right in the shot.
