  1. He 'disobeyed' an ex president who had no powers whatsoever. He obeyed those who as you say held the real power. He was to dump him and his family in Saudi, and return home. Even if he had attempted to return to Tunisia, it was never going to be on a Tunisian airlines plane, or any plane approved by those who held real power at that time.

  2. What this further proves is that presidents, dictators and even elected prime minsters are nothing but puppets. They don't actually hold the real power. It is those in the media, army, and various other government departments who actually control the destiny of countries and its people. They catapult an individual into the position of president, and they'll keep him or her there as long as he is useful. Their advice and guidance are basically the rule of law. They'll enrich themselves whilst their puppet is in power, stealing god knows how much from the people. And then when the end is near and the people can take no more, they have the puppet president there to take all of the blame.
